Description – Analysis of the Type, Style & Iconography :
Monumental wall painting (sgraffito) on the facade of a building, looking towards the yard of a former kindergarten (N. 27). The sgraffito was implemented in three colors, applied from dark to light: dark red, greenish umbra, and white.

Condition:
The building has been recently renovated and is well-maintaned. The sgraffito on the dead wall has been surrounded by panels of insulation, which overlap it in certain spots. Two vertical cracks are visible on the surface, as well as a horizontal crack that is 15cm from the bottom. The lower part of the sgraffito has areas of detachments and collapsed plaster, scratched letters, and traces of water damage. It is not clear from a distance whether the green and red paint are deteriorating or if traces of coloured paint on the white plaster are caused by the rain. Overall, the sgraffito is in a generally stable condition. -
